Sandnes

Hogstadvika

Disabled-friendly environment, toilet and parking. Camping site for caravan members. Several lakes ideal for swimming in Lutsi watercourse alongside Rv13. Also nice area for canoeing.

Tengesdal lake

Tengesdalsvatn lake near Høle. Landscaped to accommodate physically disabled persons, with bathing ramp, benches, toilet, nature trails, and fishing. Parking.

Sola Beach

Solastranden is a 2,3 km long beach close to the airport. Kiosk and toilets at Sola Strand Hotel, toilets also at the south end of the beach. Parking by the hotel and at the south end of the beach.

Vigdelstranden

A bay with a sandy shoreline between Tjelta and Ræge. Toilets adjacent to the beach.

Recreational area in the village of Kvernaland at the north end of Frøylandsvatn lake. Bathing spot, picnic area, sand volleyball court and skate ramp. Parking at Frøyland community centre. Transport: Bus no. 22 from Sandnes.
