Lindeman’s is the best selling Australian wine brand in the world. After some reserach, the company decided that Norway was the perfect location to film the latest advertisement for its wine Lindeman’s Rose. According to the company, the country’s natural beauty embodies exactly what the product stands for.  The idea was to capture in images everything that was cold, crisp, clear and clean, attributes that describe Lindeman’s Rose and Norwegian nature. The film is aimed at international markets.

Region Stavanger sent an application to be selected as one of the locations.  Rogaland, Hordaland and Møre og Romsdal were finally picked and an international film team visited  Norway in June to start working in the project. The final footage includes many attractions from the Stavanger region such as The three swords monument, Lysefjord, Pulpit Rock and Kjerag.

Lenita Nylund, the person responsible for Lindeman’s in the northern countries says: ”We couldn’t make a decision, and we have been totally impressed by the number and quality of the applications. The film will be a fantastic advertisement for Norway and people from all over the world could potentially experience Lysefjord in Rogaland, Mardalsfossen in Møre og Romsdal and Folgefonna in Hordaland."
