This years visit numbers to Feistein lighthouse already makes for a record high season. So far, 400 people has found their way to the lighthouse, a solid double compared to earlier years visits. The beautiful lighthouse is located on an island outside the Jaeren coast, 2 kilometres west of Sele harbor in the municipal of Klepp.

-Also, the weather has been with us this year as well. Luckily, only about ten per cent of the planned trips have been affected by unfortunate wind conditions. South-westerly wind directions is particulary problematic, making it difficult to access the dock on the island, she explains.
A visit to Feistein lighthouse gives you a unique opportunity to be face to face with the North Sea, and allows you to try the life of a lighthouse-keeper. The lighthouse was first put into service in 1859, and upgraded with the lighthouse tower as it stands today, in 1914. It was manned up until 1989, when it became fully automated. Accommodation is available from the 15th of May to the 15th of September, and the lighthouse has a capacity of 15 persons, mainly set up in two-bed rooms.
Prices: Overnight visit for adults is 250NOK per person. Children 4-16 year of age is half price.
Transportation to and from the lighthouse from Sele harbor, is 250NOK per adult, and 100NOK for children 4-16 years of age. Guided tours costs 500NOK, and is included in overnight stays.
It is also possible to exclusively reserve the Lighthouse for a rate of 500NOK per day, or 3000NOK per 24 hours. Reservation of the boat house by the lighthouse for banqueting purposes is also available. The rate is 1000NOK, or 100NOK per person.
