Hå is the southernmost municipality in the Jæren region and is divided into two types of scenery.

The eastern and southern parts are mostly moorland and low mountains and slopes, while the western part is the typical flatland of the Jæren region.

Along the near 40 km long coastline there are several popular sand and pebble beaches. Hå is one of the most important agricultural areas in Norway, and 50 % of the inhabitants work in the agricultural field.

Hå has a wide variety of experiences to offer to the tourist:  Outdoor activities, food, shopping, and overnight stays. Nature and tradition form a base adjusted to our modern wishes and mentality. The closeness to the sea is obvious when you are in Hå, the main road at Hårr is virtually on the pebbled beach, and further south, at Brusand and Ogna, the trains stop only a short walk from beautiful sandy beaches
and sheltered coves.

A variety of bed and breakfast facilities are integrated in a rich scale of restaurants and cafés. You will also find street kitchens and fast food places, as well as catering offers. The food served is based on local traditions and supply from land and sea nearby.

Facts about Hå:
Area: 255 km2
Inhabitants (01.01.06): 14 883
