Gunhild Vevik has worked in the tourism industry in Stavanger since 1991, and the last 14 years in Destination Management Companies in the Stavanger region, first the Stavanger Reiselivslag, then Destination Stavanger BA, and now Region Stavanger BA. Before this Gunhild was the General Manager and host at the Liostova Hotel in Hemsedal and at Savalen Fjellhotell at Tynset. In addition, Gunhild is a board member in the foundation Stavanger Fjordsightseeing and Spa-Hotell Velvære at Hjelmeland. She is a former board member in Hjelmeland Næringsutvikling and a former board member in NHO Reiseliv West Norway.
As Head of Productions in Region Stavanger BA, Gunhild works with facilitating for a good hosting role through Public Relations and Communications. This includes everything from information on the Internet, tourist information and press trips for the media. Region Stavanger BA continuously experiences that being visible in our selected markets, achieves good attention.
