L. Rødne & Sons is one of Norway's largest express boat company with a total of 14 boats, of which 12 are express vessels. The company was established in 1956 in order to carry out local school transport, but at the moment we are operating in Ryfylke and along the west coast. Our main office, with a base and a workshop is situated in Sjernarøy in Finnøy municipality.
The company's sales and marketing office is in Stavanger, selling charter and sightseeing trips. Since the 70's we have offered the popular sightseeing trips to Lysefjorden, with the Pulpit Rock being the main attraction. In 1996 the company was awarded the contract for medical and ambulance rides in Ryfylke.
From 01.01.04 L.Rødne & Sønner As also was awarded the contract for medical and ambulance rides in Austevoll. In addition we offer scheduled boat trips for Rogaland Fylkeskommune and subsupplier to Stavangerske AS.
